How the Serum Works (Explained Simply)

What to Expect at Hove Hair Clinic

1. Consultation & patch test
We start with a detailed assessment.

2. Course of 6-12 in-clinic treatments (once a week)
Each visit includes scalp prep, stamping or micro needling of the area and the application of CALECIM® serum. You’ll be in the chair for around 45–60 minutes.  There is also an option to add 20 minutes of Low Level Laser to your appointment to enhance your results.

3. Home support
We’ll recommend the right home routine for you – typically a DHT-blocking shampoo, targeted scalp tonics (e.g. growth-stimulating solutions), and optional LLLT laser cap use on non-treatment days.

4. Reviews & maintenance
We track progress with photos. Most people notice reduced shedding, improved texture and new growth within 6–12 weeks, with visible density changes. Maintenance is once a week at home treatments using half a vile per week, along side shampoo and conditioner.

Aftercare (simple but important)

• Don't wash your hair for 24 after treatment
• Avoid saunas and heavy workouts for 24 hours
• Use only the products we prescribe
• Delay hair colouring for at least 7 days (longer if you’re sensitive)
